websites for small businesses

A website that answers the questions before the phone rings.

Websites for trades, cafés, clinics and sole traders. What you do, when you’re open, where you are and what customers say, at your own address. Built and looked after by one person in Adelaide, at fixed prices you can read below.

Turned up on time, fixed it the same day, fair price.

Easy to book and easy to deal with. Will use again.

Example site, invented details. Yours gets your name, hours and reviews.

what you get

the parts that matter

Your own address

yourbusiness.com.au, registered in your name. It stays yours whoever looks after the site.

The answers on the first screen

What you do, when you're open, where you are and how to reach you, before anyone has to scroll.

One tap to call or book

A call button that works from a phone, and your booking tool embedded if you take bookings.

Your reviews, where they count

Your Google reviews shown on the page a new customer is reading while they decide.

Enquiries land in your inbox

A contact or quote form that asks the questions you ask, with the spam filtered out first.

Made for phones first

Most customers arrive from a search on a phone, so every page is designed for that screen before any other.

prices

fixed · written down · AUD

Three sizes. Each has a one-off price to build it and a monthly price that covers hosting, your domain and small changes. Start with the smallest one that does the job: moving up later costs only the difference, and I’ll say on the call if one page is all you need.

One-page site

For a trade, a café, a clinic or a sole trader: one page that answers the questions a customer has.

$490to build
+ $29 a month
first year, all in: $838
live in
about a week
changes
30 minutes a month
  • One page at your own domain, with your services, prices or menu
  • Opening hours, a map and a tap-to-call button
  • Your Google reviews shown on the page
  • A contact form that lands in your inbox, with spam filtered out
  • Your photos, colours and fonts, not a shared template

Business site

my pick

For a business with more to say: several services, a team, work to show.

$1,290to build
+ $49 a month
first year, all in: $1,878
live in
two to three weeks
changes
1 hour a month

Everything in One-page site, plus:

  • Up to seven pages: home, services, about, your work, reviews, contact, and one more
  • A quote or booking form that asks the questions you ask, or your booking tool embedded
  • Your Google Business Profile tidied so the map listing matches the site
  • Search basics done: page titles, descriptions and the structured data Google reads
  • Visitor stats with no cookie banner: how many came, and from where

Shop site

For a business that sells online or takes paid bookings.

$2,490to build
+ $79 a month
first year, all in: $3,438
live in
four to six weeks
changes
1.5 hours a month

Everything in Business site, plus:

  • A catalogue of up to 30 products or services, with photos and variants
  • Cart and checkout through your own Shopify, Square or Stripe account, and I take no cut of sales
  • Pickup, delivery and shipping rules set up the way you run them
  • Order emails to you and to the customer
  • Shipping, refund and privacy pages written for Australian Consumer Law

Prices in AUD, last set October 2026. The price you see is the total you pay. Half the build price to start, the rest when the site goes live. Monthly billing starts on launch day.

Selling yourself rather than a business, as an athlete, coach or creator? Your sizes are on the creators page.

every monthly plan includes

all three sizes
  • Hosting on Cloudflare's network, with HTTPS
  • Your domain renewed every year, in your name
  • Small changes: hours, prices, photos, a menu item or a new team member, live within two working days of your message
  • An uptime promise: if your site is down for more than an hour in total in a month, that month is free
  • A locked price: your monthly fee never goes up while your site is with me
  • Form submissions delivered to your inbox, with spam filtered out
  • Uptime checks every minute, so I hear about an outage before you do
  • Every version of the site kept, so any change can be undone
  • One person to message, not a ticket queue

Bigger jobs, like a new page or a redesign, are quoted before I start, at $90 an hour. No surprise invoices.

how it works

four steps, one of them yours
  1. 01

    A free 20-minute call

By phone or video. You tell me what the business does and what the site should do for it. I tell you which size fits, or whether a one-page site is all you need.

  2. 02

Half to start, then your material

Half the build price starts the job. You send photos, your services or menu, your hours and anything already written. Rough words are fine; I tidy them. The build clock starts when the words and photos arrive.

  3. 03

    I build, you check

You get a private preview link to try on your own phone. Two rounds of changes are included before launch.

  4. 04

    Launch, then month to month

The site goes live at your address and the other half is due. The monthly starts on launch day and runs month to month: 30 days' notice to stop.

why not Squarespace or Wix

a fair question

If you have a free weekend and the patience for it, a site builder will get you something reasonable, and I’ll say so on the call. What you get here instead is someone doing it for you: I build the site, I look after it, the month is free if it is down for more than an hour, I take no cut of anything you sell, and the domain and the files are yours to take anywhere. The monthly price covers the changes you would otherwise be making yourself.

moving an existing site

Wix · Squarespace · WordPress · anything

Already have a site? Moving it costs the same as building the size it lands in, and redirects from every old address are included, so a page Google already ranks keeps its place. Your domain comes with you, and the old subscription can stop once the new site is live.

small jobs

scripts · automations · the thing that stopped

Not every job is a website. A script, an automation, a Home Assistant job, a small web app, a data clean-up or the Raspberry Pi that stopped: those are small jobs, and the rates are below. The first 20 minutes are a free call, so you find out whether it’s a small job before paying for it.

By the hour

$90 an hour

Quoted before I start, with a one-hour minimum. The one rate across everything I do.

Half a day

$350

4 hours, prepaid and used within a month. About $88 an hour.

A day

$650

8 hours, prepaid and used within three months. About $81 an hour, and coming to you anywhere in Adelaide is included.

Bigger than a day

fixed quote

Priced from the hour estimate, with a 50% deposit to start and 30 days of fix-it support after handover.

Remote first. Coming to you across Adelaide is included with a day block and quoted otherwise.

questions

10 answered
Do the prices include GST?

The price shown is the total you pay. Nothing is added on top, and your invoice spells out the GST position.

What counts as a small change?

Anything that fits in your monthly allowance and uses what's already on the site: new hours, a price, a photo, a menu item, a team member, a few lines of text. A new page, a new form or a redesign is a bigger job, which I quote before starting at $90 an hour.

I have 100 products. Is that a Shop site?

No, and I'd rather say so now than halfway through. The Shop site covers up to 30 products or services. A bigger catalogue takes more hours to enter and test, so I quote it from the count.

Who owns the domain?

You do. It's registered in your name from day one and the yearly renewal is inside the monthly price. A .com.au needs an ABN, which a business has; .au and .com work just as well.

Can I edit it myself?

There's no editing dashboard, which is part of why the sites stay fast and have nothing to keep patched. You send me the change and it's live within two working days. If you want to edit some parts yourself, say so on the call and I'll quote a content system for it.

What happens if I stop?

Give me 30 days' notice. I hand over the site files, and the domain stays yours because it was always in your name. Any web host can run the files. There's no contract beyond that month.

Will I rank first on Google?

Nobody can promise that, and anyone who does is guessing. What I do is the groundwork: fast pages, proper titles and descriptions, the structured data Google reads, and a Business Profile that matches the site. Where you land after that depends on your reviews, your competition and time.

I'm a health practitioner. Can I show testimonials?

No. AHPRA's advertising rules don't allow testimonials for a regulated health service, so I leave the reviews block off and use the space for what you can say: your qualifications, what a first appointment involves and how to book.

Will the monthly price go up?

Not for you. The monthly price you start on stays the same for as long as your site is with me. If my prices change, they change for new sites only.

Is there a discount?

One. Let me show your finished site on this page as an example and the build is 10% off.

start with a message

Send me your business name and what the site should do.

What you do, and a line about what you want a customer to do when they land: call, book, order or ask for a quote. I’ll reply with the size I’d pick and why, within a day on weekdays.
